AFFILIATE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Most of this goes without saying, but we have to set rules so that everybody is playing by them.

Take a moment to look these over and make sure you are following the rules. Please note: if you are found to be abusing these rules, we reserve the right to cancel our affiliate agreement with you and any unpaid commissions will be forfeit – so please make sure you read through this page and get in touch with us at affiliates@yourfirst10kreaders.com if you have any questions!

1) No spamming.

Duh. You MUST abide by United States and International law, which means no spamming.

If you do not have explicit permission (i.e. you own the list) to email someone or have a personal relationship with them, don’t. Also, don’t spam message boards, forums, or other places. If you are an active member of a community and the rules allow you to share affiliate links, by all means, do so.

When in doubt, just ask us.

2) You must disclose that you’re an affiliate partner.

It’s important to be upfront and disclose that you are a promotional partner and that you will receive a commission for any sales that you refer.

It’s also a legal requirement as per FTC rules.

So you agree to be upfront in your disclosures throughout the promotion.

3) No cookie-stuffing.

If you don’t know what this is, you have nothing to worry about.

If you DO know what it is, don’t do it. We can track where cookies are set, so any unusual activity will be monitored and traced back to your account.

4a) Don’t ask us to change commissions for a sale.

Our affiliate program is run on the industry-standard last click cookie system. This means any sales are credited to the affiliate who earned the most recent click or lead referral. We also have an experienced tech team who are ensuring everything will run smoothly.

That’s why it’s important for you to agree upfront that you won’t ask us to change affiliate commissions even if you think someone meant to sign up under your link (and they ended up signing up under someone else’s instead).

4b) If the customer requests a change, we reserve the right to adjust associated commissions if necessary.

If a customer unknowingly makes an error and requests to be assigned to another partner, we reserve the right to make changes to a referrer when the customer writes in requesting such a change.

We’ll only make changes when the customer emails us requesting the change. We won’t make changes to a referrer otherwise.

5) Don’t use Nick’s image or likeness in paid advertising.

We will provide you plenty of images and swipe copy that you can use on your blog and in your communications.

However, in order to prevent confusion in the marketplace, we require that you do not run any ads or retargeting ads using Nick’s image, brand or likeness (including course product shots). We provide you with images you can use for this purpose, or you can create your own, following these guidelines.

You can create ads using your face, brand or likeness. You can also create ads regarding your bonus package (if you have one). If you have any questions about this, please ask.

OK, so that covers the rules. Now on to the FAQ:

1) What are the key dates?

All our affiliate promotions are evergreen – which means you can promote them any time and earn commissions 24/7 (yay!). All the links and info you need can be found inside your Affiliate Dashboard. We do run Live Launches once or twice per year, and we’ll make sure to let you know about those well in advance.

2) What’s the pricing / commission information?

The full Your First 10,000 Readers training program costs $597 one-time or $59 per month for 12 months. You will earn 40% of each sale – $238.80 for each “pay in full” sale and $28.60 per month for 12 months for each sale of the payment plan.

3) When will I receive my commission payment?

You will receive your commission payments during the first week of each month, for all commissions earned 2 months prior. For example, all commissions earned in January will be paid to you in the first week of March. This is to allow for the 30-day refund period to complete and for us to process payment.

4) How will I be paid?

You will be paid via PayPal. You should have submitted your Paypal account information when you registered as an affiliate, but if you aren’t sure please email us! We can also offer Wire Transfer straight into your bank account for affiliates based in the UK or for affiliates with UK bank accounts accepting GBP. If you’d like us to set this up for you, and you meet those requirements, please just let us know.

5) I’d like to take a look at the course. How can I do that?

Please shoot us a quick email and let us know. We have a Guest Login that you can use to preview the material, if you haven’t already.

6) Can I schedule a webinar/podcast or interview with Nick?

Nick would love to do a webinar or podcast interview with every affiliate! Unfortunately, as much as he would love to, there’s just no way he would have the time to fit them all in. As such, if you’d like to discuss the possibility of a podcast, interview, blog post, or webinar with Nick, please email us at affiliates@yourfirst10kreaders.com with details of your audience and requirements and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

7) What’s the refund policy for the course?

Our average return rate is under 10%. All students get a no-questions-asked 30-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase.

8) I’ve received some customer service related email questions from those purchasing the course. Who should I direct them to?
